Betty Eisenhuth

February 4, 1928 — April 12, 2018

Betty V. Eisenhuth (nee Vernone), age 90, of Seminole, FL, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on April 12, 2018.

Born in St. James, MN, she was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Marie Vernone (Nee Sigurdson).

Betty served in the United States Army during the Korean War era as a Registered Nurse.

She also had been employed as a Registered Nurse at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, PA.



Betty was very active in her community of Twin Oaks located in Seminole, Florida.

She attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Seminole, and also volunteered at the VA Hospital in Bay Pines always being ready with a helping hand; always having a positive attitude

She absolutely loved her home and friends in Florida and in turn they loved her.

She will be missed by so many. We know that she will be doing what she so loved: her crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and playing and winning at bingo and pinochle games in heaven with all her dear friends from Twin Oaks that have passed before her.

Beloved mother of Faith Irons (John), Cheryl Whiteley (John), Elaine Dougherty, Betty Jane Eisenhuth, David Eisenhuth (Michi), Kurt Eisenhuth (Jennifer) and Eric Eisenhuth.

Sister of Dolores Olsen (Arnie).

Also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, April 20, 2018 10:00-11:00 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.

Interment is Private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the VA Hospital Coatesville, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd, Coatesville, PA 19320 or the American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Rd #415, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
