Bernard J. "Bernie" Flynn, Jr. age 66, of Havertown, PA, passed away unexpectedly
on June 13, 2018.
Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Bernard J., Sr. and Rita T. (nee Kincade) Flynn.
Bernie was the kindest, most caring, gentle, and funny husband and father.
He was the world to his wife Joan

he was her everything!
Bernie cherished time being with his family, sharing a beer with his friends, watching his favorite TV shows, and golfing in Florida.
He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, who was always "quick with a joke or to light up your smoke!"
He enjoyed listening to music, especially Eric Clapton, Jimmy Buffet, and Tom Petty to name a few.
Bernie was a firm believer in God and in meditation to achieve inner peace and wellness.
Bernie was the beloved husband of 38 years of Joan L. (nee Gardner) Flynn; the loving father of Melanie R. Flynn (Ken Donato), the proud grandfather of Ashley, Chloe, and Delilah.
He is also survived by his close brother-in-law's, Rich and Jimbo Gardner, as well as his niece Jennifer Smith-Johnson.
Bernie was predeceased by his dear brother, Patrick M. Flynn and sister, Maureen Johnson.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, 10-11 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA
