Bernard Dolan

Bernard “Mr. Bernie” J. Dolan Sr., 74, of West Chester, formerly of Upper Darby, PA passed away on December 9, 2020 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center.

Born in 1946 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late John and Dorothy (née McLaughlin) Dolan.

Bernie served honorably in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

He worked as a trolley driver for Septa for many years.

Bernie was the beloved husband of Sheila (née O’Malley) Dolan; loving father of B.J. Dolan (Laura); devoted grandfather of Erin Dolan and Tripp Dolan; dear brother of Dorothy Schulz (William), Margaret Eisenhuth (the late Allen), Nora Henry (Francis), Michael Dolan, Daniel Dolan, Sr. (Ellen); and brother-in-law of Patricia Dolan He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, John Dolan, Ann Dolan, Catherine Hoss, and his twin, Steve Dolan.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-10:45 AM Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA followed by his Funeral Mass 10:45 AM.

Interment private.
