Bernadette Ann Marie Brown

Bernadette Ann Marie Brown passed on May 31, 2025 at the age of 63. Beloved daughter of the late Paul Francis and Mary P. (nee Glassmire) Brown, Jr. Bernadette is survived by her loving siblings, Rita Trainer (Ed), Kathleen Brown, Rosemary Brown, and Paul Brown (Lisa), as well as, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Ann Devine.

Bernadette devoted her life to compassion, both personally and professionally. A lifelong caregiver, she spent her entire career working in nursing home facilities, where she brought warmth, dignity and kindness to the elderly individuals she helped care for each day. Her work was more than just a job--it was her calling. Outside of her professional life, she was a deeply empathetic soul who found joy in the simple things: shopping at one of her favorite gift shops, curling up with a good book, watching her favorite TV shows, finding quiet moments with the animals she adored and lending a helping hand whenever it was needed. Her love for animals was second only to her love for her family and those she cared for. Her nurturing spirit, gentle heart and unwavering dedication to others left a mark on everyone who knew her. She gave endlessly and loved fully. She will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, colleagues and all those lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to Bernadette’s viewing on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by her funeral mass 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, PA. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
