Barbara Louise Zimmermann (nee Compton), 71, of Wayne PA, formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away on December 12, 2014.
Born in West Chester, PA on December 27, 1942, Barbara was the daughter of the late Robert C. Compton and Helen (nee George) Compton.
Barbara enjoyed reading, sewing, and loved visiting the Chesapeake Bay. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Barbara was the loving mother of Denise R. Williams (David) of Thorndale PA, Leah Emery (Kevin) of North Wales PA, Kristin Zimmermann of Wayne PA; loving grandmother of Michael Williams, Aidan Emery, Nolan Laub, Hannah Laub, and the late Ryann Laub; and dear sister of Charles R. Comtpon (Diane) and Deborah A. Wilson (Martin).
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 19, 2014 and to her Memorial Service 1:00 P.M. at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W Lancaster Ave, Downingtown PA, 19335, 610-269-3080.
