Barbara S. Wareing

Barbara S. Wareing (nee Sellers), age 87, of West Chester, PA, passed away on April 3, 2026.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1939, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Edna (nee Bates) Sellers. Barbara was a graduate of West Chester University (Teacher’s College). She dedicated her life to caring for her family. Barbara was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Flyers fan. She had a voracious appetite for reading and was known as a crossword puzzle genius. She will be remembered most for her kindness, and her caring of others. She was the matriarch of the neighborhood.

Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Wareing; loving mother of Jeffrey S. Wareing and mother-in-law of Erin Williams; dear half-sister of Susan (Sid) Meier, Fran (Lou) Reichert, and Ross (Debbie) Sellers; caring aunt of Kristin Reichert, Christine (James) Carroll, and Kyle (Therese) Sellers.

Services and interment will be private.
