Barbara Miller

Barbara Howard Miller, age 86, of Kennedyville, MD, formerly of Gladwyne, PA, passed away March 12, 2018.



Born in Wynnewood, PA, she was the daughter of Francis T. and Isabel Osbourne (nee Wetzel) Howard.



Barbara was a graduate of Haverford High School and the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing. She worked briefly for The Timothy School in Berwyn, Pa. Barbara was a member of the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church Choir. She was an avid horticulturist and a graduate of the Barnes Foundation Horticulture Program. She was a devout mother and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Barbara was committed to Christ. She was one of the founding leaders of the Capstone Legacy Foundation and was also their Director of Prayer.



Barbara was the loving mother of Pamela Ramsey (Steve), Elizabeth Little (Roy), and William Miller (Cathy); the cherished grandmother of 9; the great grandmother of 3; and step-grandmother of 1, and a dear friend of Nancy Hansen and so many more.
