Barbara Horner

Barbara Horner, 64, of Downingtown, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on April 13, 2026. Barbara was a lifelong resident of Collingdale, PA, until three years ago, when she moved to Downingtown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joan Horner.

Barbara was very passionate about caring for stray animals, especially cats. She would capture feral cats in the neighborhood, provide them with medical treatment, including spaying or neutering, and find homes for them.

She leaves behind four sisters: Linda (Rich), Patty (Sam), Rosanne (Moe), and Donna (Steve).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 25, at J.T. Brewski’s, 510 South Oak Ave, Secane, from 12–3 p.m.
