Barbara T. Goldstein

Barbara Theresa Goldstein, age 92, born 18 July 1933, of Warren, New Jersey, passed away on 18 October 2025.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Sanford B. Goldstein, her son, Kevin W. Goldstein, daughter-in-law Diane E. Goldstein, Kevin’s and Diane’s daughters Deanna and Kerra (Barbara’s granddaughters), Deanna’s husband Thomas Coyle, daughter-in-law Priscilla, and her grandson Isadore Goldstein. Barbara touched many, many other family, friends, and general acquaintances who surely have lasting, fun-filled, and funny memories of her.

Barbara was pre-deceased by her son, Robert M. Goldstein, and her parents, William Van Arsky and Geraldine Van Arsky.

Barbara’s long life was filled with many enjoyments, including domestic and international travel, visiting many other states and countries and cultures; and numerous theatre visits to New York City. Barbara also thoroughly enjoyed reading for many, many years, and volunteered at the local library in Warren, New Jersey for many years. Barbara worked at Runnells Hospital as a secretary for several years and enjoyed the daily interactions with the many patients and staff.

Barbara’s outlook on life was one of pragmatism and reality. Many described her as “feisty,” “witty,” and “no nonsense.” Everyone understood and saw the loving nature surrounding such feistiness, wit, and direct approach to her life and the lives around her.

Barbara leaves a substantial void in many of our lives, which we can all attempt to fill with our individual joyful and loving memories of being with her - our wife, our mom, our grandma, and our friend.

The private funeral service is set occur at the BG William C. Doyle Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations to any local SPCA would surely be appreciated by Barbara.
