Barbara M. Brian (nee Schroeder), age 80, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on April 10, 2018.
Born in Camden, NJ in 1937, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Mary Josephine (nee Fletcher) Schroeder. Barbara was a 1961 graduate of Glassboro State College, now Rowan University, and she worked as an elementary school teacher. Barbara enjoyed gardening, reading, and family camping trips and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of the late Doyle B. Brian, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage; loving mother of Kimberly D. Mikowychok, Keith D. Brian (Linda), and Dr. Karin D. Brian (Thomas H. Dooley); devoted grandmother of Carol Persin (John) and Alan Mikowychok (Stephanie); dear sister of Robert H. Schroeder (Kathy) of Webster, NY and the late Richard A. Schroeder.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 5-7 PM Thursday, April 19, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W.
Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080 and to her Graveside Service 11 AM Friday at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery, 852 Hopewell Road, Downingtown, PA 19335.
