Barbara Bramley

Loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Barbara A Bramley (nee Bonanni), 77, of Ocean View, DE, formerly of Broomall, PA passed away peacefully on September 11, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1944, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Helen Bonanni (nee Mignoni). She grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic for Girls in 1962. Barbara met her high school sweetheart, Albert Bramley, on the baseball field when she was sixteen years old. They married in 1963 and moved to Broomall, PA in 1973. They spent many happy years in Broomall where they raised their two daughters. After retirement, they moved to the beach in Ocean View DE.

A caring and devoted person, nothing was more important to Barbara than spending time with her family. She loved when her family was all together and filled her home with laughter. Barbara enjoyed sitting by the pool and on the beach, walking on the boardwalk, shopping, and dancing to her favorite oldies music. She also loved anything purple and collecting all colors and types of flip flops.

Barbara was the beloved wife of Albert Bramley of 58 years. She was the loving mother of Ellen Salamone (the late Ralph, Sr.) and Nadine Scali (Victor); the devoted grandmother of Ralph Salamone, Jr. (Elizabeth), Robert Salamone, Kaitlyn Scali, and Tori Scali. Barbara was pre-deceased by her sister, Gloriann Bronson.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Sunday evening, September 19, 2021, 6:00 – 8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, and on Monday morning, 8:30 – 9:30 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
