Bambina DePiano

Bambina “Bambi” DePiano (nee Giordano), age 75, of West Chester, PA passed away on May 29, 2024.  

Born in Castel Frentano, Italy on August 21, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Stefano and Maria Giordano. 

Bambina will be deeply missed by her surviving family including her son Christopher, daughter Stephanie Orfanidis (Nicholas), grandson Zachary Orfanidis, brothers Nicola (Rosemarie) and John (Eleanor) as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.

She is now reunited in peace with her husband Cesare, siblings Camillo, Ralph, Tony, Domenic, Guido and Anna and her parents Stefano and Maria.  

Throughout her life, Bambina touched the hearts of many individuals and will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving, caring, selfless woman. She found happiness in the simple things in life such as spending time with immediate and extended family and with friends both new and old. Her face lit up anytime she spoke about her grandson Zack, and she always found a new burst of energy whenever he was around her. Bambina enjoyed watching and discussing her favorite TV shows and especially Philadelphia sports. In particular, she was an avid fan of the Phillies. 

Relatives and friends are invited to Bambina’s visitation on Wednesday June 5 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and Thursday June 6 from 10AM to 10:45AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11AM at SS Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
