Aurora Piraino (nee Laudato), age 95, of Boothwyn, PA, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2018.
Born in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Philomena (nee Iacavella) Laudato.
Aurora and her late husband, Peter Piraino, owned and operated the Piraino Restaurant from 1961 to 1982. Then at the age of 57, Aurora graduated from Immaculata College with no less than straight A's! She was then employed with the Dowden Nursing Home in Newtown Square as a dietitian and retired at the age of 80.
Aurora was the beloved wife of the late Peter Piraino; the loving mother of Anthony C. Piraino (Carol), Virginia Donnolo (Doug), Peter A. Piraino, and Aurora B. Albrand (Donald). She was the devoted grandmother of Kimberly, Anthony, Cynthia, Peter James, and Aurora; and the cherished great-grandmother of Damon, Kyle, Alexis, Vincent, Adrianna, Armani, Noelle, Violet, Kayle, Carter, Phoenix, and the late Nicolette. Aurora is predeceased by 13 of her siblings and is survived by her dear siblings, Philomena Buggy, Gloria Postek, and Johnny Laudato.

9:50 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA, 19008, 610-353-4880, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Interment at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
