Aurelio Nardoni

Aurelio Nardoni, 91, of Downingtown, PA, passed away October 27, 2025.

Born October 23, 1934 in Roseto, Italy, he was the son of the late Giovanni an Luisa (nee D-Annuzio) Nardoni.

Aurelio was a skilled stone mason and was proud of his many work accomplishments, including the stone and brick work on the very first Wawa.

He was very devoted to taking care of his family and his friends. He enjoyed tending to his garden, full of fig trees and tomatoes; taking walks, making homemade wine, and hoping his lottery ticket would hit big. He was an avid Phillies fan and always had a printed schedule so he wouldn’t miss a game. He spent many days playing bocce and won several trophies over the years in bowling. He will be dearly missed.

Aurelio was the beloved husband of Edda (nee Mercuri) Nardoni; loving father of Louisa Wilson, wife of Dan; dear brother of Amalia DiMarco; and caring brother-in-law of Bruno Mercuri, husband of Anna. He was predeceased by his daughter, Patrizia, and his siblings: Lilliana, Anna, and Gilda.

Services will be private.
