Arthur S. "Sam" Crowe

Arthur S. “Sam” Crowe, Jr., 91, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Carlisle, MA, passed away on March 23, 2021.

Born in Wakefield, MA in 1929, he was the son of the late Arthur S., Sr. and Ruby (nee Belmore) Crowe. Sam was a proud graduate of Amherst College and Harvard Business School. He later served as an officer in the United States Navy, stationed in Portsmouth, NH. Sam was a successful entrepreneur, a gardener extraordinaire, and an avid Boston Red Sox fan, but family mattered most to him.

Sam was the beloved husband of the late Mary F. “Kit” (nee Clayton) Crowe; loving father of Mary F. “Muffy” Crisman (Curnen), Lisa J. Uthgenannt (Jim), Marc R. Crowe (Nancy), and Kristen A. Sita (Joseph); and caring grandfather of 12 grandchildren and great grandfather of 2 great grandchildren.

Services are private. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
