Arthur J. "Marty" O'Connor, 51, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away suddenly on September 19, 2014. He was a beloved husband and father. He is survived by his wife Diane O'Connor (nee Mariana), his children Dylan J. and Hayley R. O'Connor, his siblings Kevin J. (Betsy), Kathy Burns (Frank), Joan Farooqi (Farukh), Christine Beck (Carl) and Tim O'Connor. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. Marty was predeceased by his son, Luke Arthur O'Connor and was the son of the late Arthur J. O'Connor and Joan O'Connor (nee Stull).
Born in Darby, PA, Marty was employed as a bus mechanic for the Upper Darby School District. Marty was a graduate of Archbishop John Carroll High School and
a car enthusiast.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, September 24, 2014 9:00-11:00 AM immediately followed by his Funeral Service at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 would be appreciated.
