Arthur Dangelantonio, a devoted family man and a skilled tradesman, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on February 6, 1951, Arthur lived a life characterized by dedication, love, and community involvement.
For 15 years, Arthur contributed his talents as an insulator at the Navy Yard, where his hard work and commitment to excellence earned him the respect of his colleagues. A proud veteran, Arthur also served honorably in the Army, embodying the values of service, dedication, and pride that defined his character throughout his life.
Arthur was a graduate of Darby Colwyn High School, where he first developed his strong sense of responsibility and work ethic. Those who had the privilege to know him will remember his passion for life, particularly his deep affection for his family. Arthur cherished his beloved wife, Regina (McIntosh) Dangelantonio, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Together, they built a warm and loving home filled with laughter and joy, often surrounded by their cherished grandchildren, Nicholas and London.
A lifelong sports fan, Arthur was especially enthusiastic about Philadelphia's sports teams, with a particular fondness for the Philadelphia Flyers. His adventurous spirit shone through in his love for camping and his fond memories of trips down the shore, particularly to Wildwood, where he found peace and happiness by the ocean.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Regina; son, Steven A. Dangelantonio; and grandchildren, Nicholas and London. He also leaves behind a loving extended family, including his siblings Pasquale Dangelantonio (Linda), Rosemary Barlem (Bob), and Amelia Bryson (Glenn), as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas A. Dangelantonio, and his parents, Alfonce N. and Amelia (Nee Cozzi) Dangelantonio.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the viewing at Donohue Funeral Home in Upper Darby on August 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA
