Arlene A. Muller, a devoted caregiver, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on May 8, 2025, at the age of 74.
Born in Washington County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Cora Kimble. From a young age, Arlene embodied the spirit of compassion and service. For more than three decades, she dedicated her life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Melmark, Camilla Hall, and as a private nurse. She was known for her unwavering compassion and selflessness; she was truly the quintessence of a caretaker.
It wasn’t just her nurturing spirit that defined Arlene; it was also her unique, buoyant humor and the ability to make everyone feel valued. She had a remarkable gift for connecting with people. No matter the circumstance, Arlene always prioritized the well-being of others, often putting her own needs aside in the service of those she loved.
Above all, Arlene’s heart belonged to her family. She found immeasurable joy in the presence of her grandchildren, with whom she shared a bond that transcended words. The memories she created with them—whether through simple moments or grand adventures—will forever be treasured in their hearts. She also shared a special bond with her beloved companion dog, Scout, whose loyal presence added comfort to her everyday life.
Arlene had a special place in her heart for summers in the Chesapeake Bay area, where her love for nature flourished. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and music, all of which brought her immense happiness. A highlight of her social life included her participation in a bowling league at Sproul Lanes, where she shared laughter and camaraderie with fellow bowlers.
Arlene’s legacy lives on in her children, James Mosier, Christina Mosier, and Kristie Ganley (Theodore), in her grandchildren: Casandra, Tiffany, Zachery, Kyle, Jarrod, Grace, Luke, and Kate, and in her great-grandchildren: Finley and Oliver, all of whom will carry her love and memory forward.
Arlene’s gentle spirit and boundless love will be profoundly missed, but her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Arlene’s life with a Visitation on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church Chapel, 625 Montgomery Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
