January 31, 1941 — February 4, 2023

Arlene M. (nee Cooper) Baxter, 82, of West Chester, PA, passed away February 4, 2023. 

Born January 31, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late John and Edna (nee Schroeder) Cooper.

Arlene enjoyed traveling with family and friends and had been fortunate to  visit many countries and National Parks.  If the Phillies game was being televised you were sure to know she was watching the game with Buddy (feline companion) on her lap. 

Arlene was the beloved wife of the late William Baxter; loving mother of Pamela A. Manning-Smith (Courtney) and William J. Baxter (April); adoring grandmother of Greg, Scott, Kari, and Leigh Ann; great grandmother to Wes and June; and dear sister of Roy Cooper (Pam). Family was very important to Arlene and she passed peacefully with her children by her side. 
 
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday February 9, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM. St. Agnes Cemetery.
 
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation to help the battle of breast cancer.  www.komen.org
