Antoinette N. DeSimone

Antoinette N. DeSimone (nee Nardi), age 95, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024 with her family by her side. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, in July 1928 she was the daughter of the late Bernardino and Anna (nee Mattioli) Nardi.

Antoinette, affectionately called Toni, was vibrant and outgoing, and cherished spending time with her family and friends. She had a passion for travel, particularly enjoying numerous Caribbean cruises. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, needlepoint, and cross-stitch. Toni also loved ballroom dancing and competed in many competitions. She was the proud owner and operator of an Arthur Murray Dance Studio.

Toni was the loving mother of Lawrence L. DeSimone and Anna Mae Mooney (Edward), and the late Marlene A. DeSimone and Bryan D. DeSimone. She was a caring grandmother to Neilson Carlin, Paul Carlin, Peter Carlin, Lawrence S. DeSimone, Kyle DeSimone, and Troy DeSimone. She is also survived by her dear brother John Nardi (Diane), many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Edith Phillips.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 10:00-11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery 1050 Pottstown Pike, West Chester PA.
