Anthony “Tony” J. Diyenna, age 66, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2025.
He was born on March 23, 1959 in Bryn Mawr, PA to the late Anthony N. and Marie (née DeLoretta) Diyenna.
Anthony was a Villanova graduate with a Bachelor and Masters degree in Biology. He had a long career at Wyeth-Ayerst specializing in regulatory affairs, and he was a consultant for other pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
Anthony was the beloved husband of Jan (née Miller) Diyenna, for 27 years, and a loving father to Camille and Rachel Diyenna. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Daly, and her husband Joe; his nieces, Sarah Gonzalez and Claire Venell; and his nephew, James Helm.
Anthony loved to travel with his family, both throughout the United States and abroad. His favorite destinations included numerous national parks throughout the western United States, Ocean City, New Jersey, Gettysburg, and Disneyworld. Their last vacation as a family was to Barcelona, Spain.
Anthony had a lifelong interest in trains and was a longtime member of the Strasburg Railroad Museum. He enjoyed constructing H.O. scale model trains and had a large display in his basement. He loved photography and several of his photos were published in Railpace news magazine.
Anthony had a great sense of humor. He loved hearing a good joke and always had one to share, particularly if it was politically incorrect.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 13th, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W Pleasant Grove Rd, West Chester, PA. Visitation will begin at 10 am and the service will start at 11 am. Interment will be private.
