Anthony Joseph "Tony" Costanzo

Anthony Joseph “Tony” Costanzo, age 95, of Exton, PA, passed away on February 25^th, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Charles and Lena (née DiMauro) Costanzo.

Anthony was the beloved husband to the late Rosemary Catherine Costanzo (née DiNelli). He was also the loving father of Charles A. Costanzo (Christine) and Francis M. Costanzo (Sherry).  He was the devoted grandfather of Carmen M. Williams, Alexander J. Costanzo, Kara Cresse, and Michael Costanzo, and the great-grandfather of Andrew Williams, Cole Costanzo, Emilia Cresse and Sophie Costanzo.

Anthony was an extremely educated man. He especially loved the time he spent at Girard College where he received his grade school and high education, and Gettysburg College, where he graduated with 2 Chemistry degrees. He also received a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Temple University. He was a Library scientist at ARCO Chemicals and also had a Library science degree from Drexel University.

Anthony was first and foremost a loving family man. He was very devoted to them. He was kind and caring. He loved living in Cape May with his wife as that was their favorite place to be.  He was also a Phillies fan and a lover of music. Anthony was a friend to all who knew him and will be truly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Friday morning, March 3^rd, 2023, 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Donohue Funeral Home, located at 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA, 19073, 610-353-6300. Interment at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery 1600 Sproul road, Springfield, PA, 19064.
