It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Louise “Nancy” Catalano (nee Coffey), who left us peacefully on August 19, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on October 6, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anne Coffey (nee Calvey) and the beloved wife of the late Gennaro J. Catalano; loving mother of Michael Catalano, Deborah Ruriani (Ross), Chris Catalano (Mary), Deanie Menhardt (Werner), Joseph Catalano, Nancy Lombra (Todd); adoring grandmother of Brynn, Alyse, Sean, Kaile, Matthew, Vance, Thomas, Avery, Cynee`, Cole, Chase, Connor and Blake as well as her great grandson Noah; devoted sister to her brothers James Coffey (Grace) and the late Joseph Coffey (Theresa).
Nancy will be remembered most for her unwavering love of family, her piercing blue eyes and kindness to others. Family was at the heart of everything Nancy did. She was a devoted mother to her six children and the proud grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild who brought her endless joy. She loved gathering her family around the table, hosting countless dinners, holidays, and celebrations in her home — moments filled with laughter, love, and memories that will be cherished forever.
After she raised her children, Nancy joined the workforce full-time and dedicated 15 years of her life to the Medical Archives Department at Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals, a role she took immense pride in and where she built lasting friendships. She was the beloved matriarch, admired not only by her children and grandchildren but also by their friends, who were always welcomed into her home with warmth and kindness. Her legacy of love, strength, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
