Anna Theresa Horsey

Anna T. Horsey, of Media, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on July 31, 1933, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Anna grew up in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.

After graduating from Notre Dame Catholic Girls High School in Moylan Pennsylvania in 1951, she began a distinguished career with Bell Telephone. Exceptionally intelligent and driven, Anna rose to top management and played a role in important technological developments in telecommunications during her 35-year career.

Following her retirement in 1985, Anna devoted herself to her family, always putting the needs of others before her own. She spent her last 16 years at Lima Estates in Media, Pennsylvania, where she made many dear and lasting friendships and remained close to her family, especially her grandnieces Jacqueline and Elizabeth Penn. A devout Catholic, Anna will be remembered for her selflessness, generosity, and deep concern for others.

She was predeceased by her parents, Earl W. Horsey and Anna K. Horsey (née Allsman), and her brother, William J. Horsey.

Anna is survived by her sister, Kathryn H. Penn; her nieces, Maureen J. Luviner (née Penn), Anna K. Penn, and Suanne L. Horsey; her nephews, Raymond B. Penn, Forrest L. Kaup, Robert E. Kaup, and Michael T. Horsey.

Relatives and friends are invited to Anna’s viewing on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA followed by her funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
