Ann Marie Hay, of Broomall, PA, a beloved educator and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, at the age of 88.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sydney P. and Mary (née Quinn) Hay.
A graduate of Immaculata College, Ann’s passion for education and faith were foundational pillars of her life. Her commitment to her students extended beyond the classroom, fostering an environment where kindness, curiosity, and integrity thrived. Those who had the privilege to know and learn from her remember her not only for her knowledge but for the warmth and encouragement she offered to everyone she encountered.
Ann Marie is survived by her dear brother, Thomas Hay (Linda), as well as her many loving nieces and nephews, and friends. She is predeceased by her brothers, Sydney F. Hay (Mary) and James Hay (Catherine).
Relatives and friends are invited to honor Ann Marie at a Visitation on Friday, May 1, 2026, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass commencing at 10:30 AM. Interment thereafter at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ann Marie’s memory would be appreciated to Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary - Camilla Hall, 100 Maxis Drive, Malvern, PA 19355 or to the ALS Association, www.als.org/support/states/pennsylvania.
