Andrew J. Michels

Andrew J. Michels, of Morton, PA, passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on May 30, 1957, Andrew was the beloved son of the late Andrew Michels and Alma Michels (née Fisher).

Andrew was truly one of a kind—loud, happy, hilarious, and always the life of the party. His laughter filled every room, and his sense of humor and joy for life were contagious. Above all else, Andrew was a devoted family man who deeply loved his wife, children, and grandchildren, who were the center of his world.

He found peace and happiness at the beach, especially while walking his dogs. A passionate music lover, Andrew was rarely quiet—he was always singing and sharing his love of music with others. He took great pride in caring for his cars and was known for his unique collections, including watches, swords, boots, and guitars. An avid animal lover and a multilingual individual, Andrew’s interests were as wide-ranging as his personality.

Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Mary C. Michels; his children, Jessica L. Michels (Kyle), Andrew Michels Jr. (Jana), William Michels, and Steven Michels; and his cherished grandchildren, Adriana Michels, Jude Heuser, and Kai Michels. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Daniel J. Michels.

Family and friends are invited to attend Andrew’s Viewing on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m., at the Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Avenue, Morton, PA 19070. Interment is Private.

Andrew will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his larger-than-life spirit, his unwavering love for his family, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him.
