Amy M. Ercole

Amy M. Ercole, age 37, of Collegeville, PA, passed away on December 9, 2025. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, she was the beloved daughter of Chuck (Kitty Smith) and Carolyn Ercole (nee Dougherty).

Amy was the loving wife of Joseph Phillips-Shaw; caring sister of Ryan Ercole (Laura) and Kevin Ercole (Erica); adoring aunt of Peyton, Lily, Robby, Oliver, Teddy, Cameron, Emma, Jacob, Madeline, and Julia. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents Bob and Connie Ercole.

Amy was a treasured individual, who lived her life with independence, compassion, and unwavering loyalty to those she loved.

Amy embodied a spirit that was simultaneously fierce and gentle, a combination that endeared her to all who knew her. Her caring nature shone brightly in every interaction, and she possessed a rare ability to make everyone feel valued and cherished. She had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and adventure, which propelled her into the great outdoors, where she found solace in hiking and deep appreciation for wildlife. This affinity for nature was complemented by her love for reading, baking, and nurturing her garden.

Amy's adventurous soul sparked her enthusiasm for travel, leading her and her beloved partner Joseph to traverse the globe. They delighted in the stunning landscapes of Costa Rica, the tranquil shores of St. Martin, the rich cultures of Belize and Guatemala, the vibrant life of Ecuador, the charm of Grenada, and the breathtaking beauty of Guadalupe Island Country and Spain. Each journey was a testament to her desire to connect with the world, to collect experiences that would enrich her life and those around her.

Her warmth and caring nature resonated deeply with her family and friends, offering a steadfast presence in their lives. Amy's devotion to her family was unwavering; she cherished the moments spent together, building memories that would be cherished for generations.
