Allison M. "Alli" Davis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Allison “Alli” Davis, age 24, of Media, PA on Sunday June 12, 2022.

The beloved daughter of Jean Prevoznik Davis and the late Mark P. Davis. Alli graduated from Penncrest High School and attended Widener University where she majored in Hospitality Management, marrying her two loves– food and people!  Alli worked at several food and hotel establishments, most recently employed as an Events Manager at the JW Marriott of Marco Island.

Alli had an unquestionable zest for life. In addition to her beloved dog, Skye, Alli loved her family, her friends, good food and a good time, and the lines between them often blurred. For Alli, her family were her friends, and friends often became family.  A good time always involved good food, and good food was enough for a good time, especially when family and friends were involved! That unquenchable zest for life was contagious; Alli lit up any room she entered, ready to hear or share a good story, have a laugh, and always play great music.

Alli worked hard, giving 120% to everything she did, be it school, work, house cleaning, and especially her relationships. She called it how she saw it, not hesitating to speak her mind.  Alli often defined herself as “a challenge,” a description her beloved family might often agree. Alli – the fun, the hard work, the challenge – will be dearly missed every single day of our lives. Those of us fortunate enough to know her, raise a glass, carry on her legacy with fun stories, good food and fun drinks, knowing that her light is forever shining down on you.

In addition to her mother, Alli is survived by her siblings, Emily and Kyle; her maternal grandmother Rita Prevoznik, her paternal grandparents Joe and Ann Campbell; her fourteen aunts and uncles, 38 cousins and a large extended family.

She was predeceased by her father Mark P. Davis and maternal grandfather Stephen J. Prevoznik. We are comforted knowing she is now in the arms of these dear departed loved ones.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, June 18, 2022 with her Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby PA 19082.
