Alice I. Berstler (nee Iannelli), age 70, passed away peacefully from years of battling a recurring brain tumor on September 16, 2017 at 9:00 AM.
Alice was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Albert and Mary Iannelli (nee Battagliese) and attended Southern High School.
She was a wonderful and devoted mother to Robert J. Hoover and David J. Hoover. She loved photography, gardening, swimming, and playing with her granddaughter Trinity Ann Hoover. Alice cherished her time spent at church. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus with a childlike faith, and was always moved by the worship music. She has run the race that God set before her and now she wears the Crown of Victory. She would do anything to have large family gatherings at her home. Since 2005, she, along with her husband Walter, spent their winters in Florida. This is where she loved to be. She enjoyed the tropical plants especially her orchids, the warm breezes, and the many sunsets. Alice will be very missed by all that knew her. Kindness, loyalty, forgiveness, and honesty were her dearest traits.
Alice is survived by her husband Walter, her two sisters Joann Iannelli and Mary Salvatore and her husband Anthony, nieces Lisa and Monica, sons Robert and David, granddaughter Trinity, and her other grandchildren Paige, Brendan, Dylan, Madison, Taylor, Olivia, Turner, Avery, and Elise.
