Alice H. Anastasia, a longtime resident of Williamsburg, Virginia, died on October 23, 2022. She was 99 years old. She died at an assisted living facility in Malvern, Pennsylvania where she resided after suffering a stroke in 2018. Prior to Williamsburg, she was a resident of Hillsdale, New Jersey.

She had fond memories of being raised in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania where she was born on April 12, 1923. Following graduation from Stroudsburg High School, she graduated from Katherine Gibbs School in New York City, after which she assumed a secretarial position at Lehigh Valley Railroad Company in New York City. She and her husband, Harry G. Anastasia, married in 1948. They moved to Williamsburg in 1988 to enjoy their retirement years. Together, they enjoyed biking and traveling in Europe. Harry died in 1992. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her two sisters and a brother.

Alice was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church where she was an active member of the Knitting Ministry and Young at Heart.

She is survived by three daughters Janet Sawicki (John) of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, Marian Anastasia of Williamsburg, Virginia, and Christine Pollard (Robert) of Lewisburg, West Virginia; five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

A burial will be in Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, New Jersey.
