Alfred D. Rogers

Alfred D. Rogers, a retired postal worker and member of his community, passed away on January 31, 2024. He was born on January 6, 1935, and leaves behind a legacy of dedication, service, and love.

Alfred led a fulfilling life that was guided by unwavering kindness and compassion. Throughout his career as a postal worker, he touched the lives of countless individuals through his commitment to delivering mail with utmost care and efficiency. He approached his work with a genuine smile and a friendly demeanor that endeared him to all who interacted with him.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Alfred was a remarkable individual known for his sense of duty and patriotism. He proudly served his country as a Veteran, standing tall in defense of the values that the nation holds dear. His bravery and selflessness were an inspiration to those who knew him. Alfred's military service is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the well-being of others and reflects his profound love for his country.

However, Alfred's impact extends far beyond his career and service in the military. As a husband, he shared more than fifty years of wedded bliss alongside his beloved spouse the late Concetta Rogers. Their bond was filled with shared joys, sorrows, triumphs, and challenges that they faced hand in hand. Their love stood as an example for all who witnessed it—a relationship built on mutual respect, support, and unbreakable companionship. Alfred and Concetta were actively involved with their church- Epiphany of Our Lord. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Men of Malvern Club.
