Alfred John "Jack" Foulds, III, age 70, of Venice, FL, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away suddenly on October 22, 2017.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Alfred John Foulds, II, and Matilda K. Foulds (nee Klatt).
Jack served two tours of duty with the 5th Special Forces of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served thirty two years with the Philadelphia Police Department before retiring in 2008. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the Masonic Lodge-Tacony 600, the Scottish Rite and the Wildwood Gables Yacht Club.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia O'Donnell, his loving children Alfred John Foulds, IV (Michele), Michael Andrew Foulds, his nephew Carl Szollosy III, his dear grandchildren Isabella Rose and Alfred John Foulds, V, his sister Linda Matthews and several loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Janice Hartman Kelly.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday Evening, October 29, 2017 6:00-8:00 PM and Monday, October 30, 2017 9:00-10:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 followed by his Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
