Alexander Joseph Morrow

Alexander Joseph “Alex” Morrow, age 77, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on November 12, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Alexander C. and Rose Marie Morrow (nee Gellura).

Alex was a proud veteran of the United States Army, he embodied the virtues of service and commitment throughout his life. He attended West Catholic High School for Boys, where he laid the foundation for his journey into adulthood, a journey marked by positivity and fervor. Renowned for his outgoing nature, he showcased a personality that was always happy, bringing joy to every interaction he encountered.

In his professional life, Alexander flourished as a car salesman, where his charisma and love for conversation made him a beloved figure among customers and colleagues alike. He thrived on the relationships he built, finding joy in the art of communication and connection.

Beyond the world of work, Alex was a man of diverse interests and passions. His love for dancing brought exuberance to gatherings, and his devotion to family was profound, particularly evident in the special bond he shared with his grandchildren. His laughter and zest for life transformed ordinary moments into cherished memories.

Alex was the beloved husband of the late Florence Morrow (nee Bestone); loving father of Alexis Shantel Morrow-Johnston (JR); adoring grandfather of Kaela (Evan), Gregory, Gabbriella, Tiffani, Savannah, and John (Jess); caring brother of Angela (Joe) and the late Thomas and Patricia; devoted uncle of Tiffany, Josh, and Cortney and great uncle of Wren. Also survived by his ex-wife, Barbara Bradfield and her children, Lisa and Kurt. Predeceased by his first wife, Mary Anne Barbella (nee Moore).

Relatives and friends are invited to Alex’s Visitation 9:30-11:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Private.
