Albert Strolis, 83, of Wildwood, New Jersey, passed away on January 15, 2026.
He was born on February 23, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Albert Strolis and Anna Strolis (née Ozalis).
Albert was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, having served his Country from 1962 to 1965.
After Army life, Al attended college and began apprenticeships in drafting commercial buildings; it became a lifelong career and passion.
Al was a deeply creative soul – an artist and musician. He loved painting with oil and found immense joy in exploring museums, experiencing different cultures, cities, and landscapes, throughout the United States, Italy, France and England, always returning home with stories to share, but there was no place like home.
At home, Albert loved music, listening to every genre - and he loved playing music – on the drums, classical guitar, banjo, ukelele, trumpet, coronet, trombone, and piano - and if he wasn’t playing, you could hear him singing or humming a tune throughout the house – he was always happy. Al was also a voracious reader; collecting volumes about his favorite artists, architects and musicians.
A devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan, he rarely missed coaching and cheering on his team with his Godson through every game.
Above all else, Albert cherished his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Renee (Wells). Al is also survived by his Goddaughters, Gabrielle Rubery, Victoria Devine, Antonina Klimowicz; and his Godson, John Albert Strolis, his sister, Lorraine Lerner, many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory, and his beloved dogs, Rocky and Ringo, his constant companions who were truly part of his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Anna Strolis, by his brother, John R. Strolis, and by his son, Zachary C. Strolis.
Albert will be remembered for his creativity, his love of music, art, learning and travel, his devotion to family, and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are invited to attend Albert’s viewing 10:00-11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, followed by a Funeral Mass 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Avenue, Morton, PA 19070.
Donations in memory of Albert Strolis may be directed to the Veterans Committee of the Greater Wildwood Elks 1896, 109 West 1st Avenue, North Wildwood, NJ 08260.
