Alan George Smethurst, 82, of West Chester, PA, passed away on July 29, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Coogan) Smethurst; loving father of Lynn A. Mirante (Charles) and Michael G. Smethurst (Holly); caring grandfather of Megan and Matthew Mirante and Andrew, Paige, and Courtney Smethurst; predeceased by his sister, Dorothy S. Cole.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10-10:50 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, PA 19380 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 AM.
Interment will be private.
