Agnes Rogers

February 10, 1928 — April 13, 2018

Agnes M. Rogers (nee McKlindon), 90, of Willistown Township, passed away on April 13, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late William T. Rogers Sr. She was also predeceased by parents Patrick and Loretta (nee McFadden) McKlindon and her six siblings.

Agnes graduated from Temple University in 1949 as a Pharmacist at the age of 21, she started working at Fralinger Pharmacy in the city.

She later went on to work at the Bazaar of All Nations Pharmacy in Clifton Heights. Agnes later worked many years as a pharmacist for Express Scripts and she retired at the age of 83.

Agnes loved her work, but her family always came first. She was always there for her family and rarely missed an event involving her children, grandchildren or her many nieces and nephews.

Agnes was very family oriented, generous, had a great sense of humor, and a quick Irish wit. She was very simple and not extravagant. She loved traveling to Bermuda, Portugal, and to her place in Avalon, NJ.

Agnes is survived by her beloved children William T. Rogers, Jr., Cecelia Cary (Kevin); dear sister Marie Sweeney; loving grandchildren Courtney, Christopher, Connor, and Kevin Cary; and her great grandchild Colby Elliott Cary. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to her Visitation 7-9 PM Friday evening, April 20, 2018 and 8:30-9:30 AM Saturday morning at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
