Adam T. Delecki, age 40, of Radnor, PA, was summoned into communion with the Savior on October 15, 2023 at his residence surrounded by family. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, he was the beloved son of Daniel Delecki and the late Sandra Delphine (nee Janusz) Delecki.
Adam was educated at St. Katharine of Siena Grade School (Wayne, PA 1997), Archbishop John Carroll High School (Radnor, PA 2001), and was awarded a “Cum Laude” Undergraduate and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University (Villanova, PA 2005 & 2006). Adam specialized in thermodynamics and electromechanical engineering. He was a troubleshooting specialist for both blueprint and installed systems and had been employed as a Design Engineer at Case New Holland L.L.C. (CNH) (New Holland, PA) in the agricultural machinery division. He was a Consulting Engineer and an Engineering Design Lead employed at J.J. White Inc. (Philadelphia, PA) in HVAC and piping & process design for the commercial, industrial, and petrochemical industries including the design and installation of the HVAC system at St. Katharine of Siena Grade School (Wayne, PA). He was a Design Engineer for life science medical equipment, a Patent Examiner employed at the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) (Alexandria, VA), and was an Adjunct Professor at Villanova University (Villanova, PA). He is a named inventor on numerous patents. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi, Acme Organ Institute, Friends of the Wanamaker Organ, Friends of the Kotzschmar Organ, and The Organ Historical Society. He enjoyed family and friends, cooking, woodworking, sewing, art, including artistic and engineering drawing, vintage and current machinery including landscaping, agricultural, and grounds equipment, and automotive service and repair. He enjoyed building, repairing, and playing the organ and piano at religious venues including St. Katharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church (Wayne, PA), and at his residence.
Adam was the loving brother of Justin E. Delecki and Jason D. “J.D.” Delecki and caring nephew of Thomas Delecki (Laura) and Ted “Tadziu” Delecki (Karen). He is survived by many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family for his Viewing Monday, October 23, 2023 9:30-11:00 AM at St. Katharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087 and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
