John Radomile, Sr, DDS

John James Radomile, Sr., DDS, age 98, of Drexel Hill, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2021, surrounded by his family.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Umberto and Antonietta (nee Gambescia) Radomile.

Dr. Radomile was a graduate of Southern High School.  He graduated Temple University Dental School, Class of 1947. He served his country honorably in both World War II and the Korean War.

Dr. Radomile held a family dental practice in Drexel Hill for over 60 years. His sons, John Jr. and Mark continue his legacy. He enjoyed photography, loved nature and walking.  He was an avid reader, liked working on crossword puzzles, took great pleasure in cooking and enjoyed astronomy – “gazing at the stars.”  Most importantly he loved Sunday dinners and being surrounded by his family.

Dr. Radomile was the beloved husband of 63 years to the late Rosina S. (nee Sinopoli) Radomile; the loving father to Dr. John J. Radomile Jr. (LuAnn), Linda  R. Santos (Alfred J.), Stephen Radomile (Kathy), Maria Piselli (Steve), Dr. Mark Radomile (Nancy), Lisa Marciano (Albert Jr.), and Joseph Radomile. He is the proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Wednesday, August 25, 2021, 9:30 to 10:50 AM at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA  19026, followed by his Funeral Mass, 11:00 AM.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

Out of an abundance of caution, and for the safety of our family and friends, we kindly ask all guests to wear a facial mask and maintain a distance of six feet.
