Helen Hamaty (nee Saddic), age 98, of
Mullica Hill, NJ, formerly of South Philadelphia, PA, passed away on May 13, 2019.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Saddic (nee Shahedi).
Helen was a member of St. George Orthodox Church in Upper Darby, PA for over half a century.
She enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting, sewing and caring for her family.
She liked going to the casinos and playing pinochle.
Helen was predeceased by her husbands, Simon Hamaty and Ralph Palazzolo.
She is survived by her loving children Angela Staubus (Dr. Alfred), Paulette Marchesani (James), Christina Holmes (Harry), Georgette Hamaty (George Schaefer) and George Hamaty (Sonia).
She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, May 17, 2019 10:00-11:00 AM at St. George Orthodox Church, 8210 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
Interment Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
