Obituary

Beverly May Myles (nee Allen), age 88, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2020, with her family by her side.

 

Born in Englewood, NJ, she was the daughter of Lester Milton, Sr. and Vera May (nee Barrett) Allen.

 

Beverly was a graduate of Closter High School.  She was employed in the Banking and Finance industry for many years.  Beverly’s most cherished times were being with her precious family and her loving pet dog, Rosie.  She also enjoyed reading and loved her church, the United Church of Christ in East Goshen.  She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in New Jersey and was a former member of Temple Assembly, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls in New Jersey.

 

Beverly was predeceased by husbands, Roy William Garlisch and Lindley Paynter Myles.  She was the loving mother of Roy William Garlisch, Jr. and Bonnie Lee Garlisch Jackson; the devoted grandmother of Amanda Garlisch Watkins, Brianna Garlisch, Christopher Allen Jackson and Andrew David Jackson; and the great-grandmother of Piper Watkins and Mackenzie Watkins.  She is also survived by her dear brother, Lester Milton Allen, Jr. and his wife, Claire Lichtenberger Allen, and her faithful pet dog, Rosie. She was also predeceased by her dear friend and companion, George Davis.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday February 1, 2020 at United Church of Christ East Goshen, 1201 N Chester Rd, West Chester, PA 19380, 610-692-2951, followed by her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.
