Mary Homyak

Mary Elizabeth Homyak, age 93 of West Chester, PA passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 12, 1927 to her parents, the late Mary and Howard Davis.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Ganther, and Lillian Eckbold and brothers Joseph, Howard, Francis, Edward and Frederick.

Mary is survived by her five children, Mary Lynn Walsh, Anne McClintic (William), Maureen Rosamilia (Richard Klinkbeil), Michelle Van De Boe and Michael Homyak (Carolyn).  Also surviving her are 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

After 22 years of administrative work for the Pennsylvania Railroad and Conrail, she retired on October 28, 1990.

Mary’s passion was sewing and needle work which she happily enjoyed during her 30 years of retirement.  Mary was a kind, good hearted person who liked to see the positive in someone and it gave her pleasure to compliment that person.  She also loved music and dancing.
