Janet Korkuch

Janet N. Korkuch (Nee Nason), 65, of West Chester, PA passed away on May 28, 2020.

Born on March 2, 1955 in Bryn Mawr, PA she was the daughter of Harry and Sue Nason (Chubbuck).

She earned her Bachelor’s degree at Shippensburg University and worked for many years at Surrey Services for Seniors, Inc., after previously having a successful career in Marketing at National Liberty Corporation, and working as a travel agent and office manager.

Janet was the loving mother of Chris Korkuch (Dana) and Katie Spratt (Ryan); devoted grandmother of Ashley, Emily, Logan and Braden; dear sister of Beth Nason (Greg). She cherished her sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She treasured every memory of raising her two children in their West Chester home, and welcomed any and all friends who came to “hang” by their pool. While raising her children, she was deeply committed to volunteer work in their schools and sporting events until returning to work after her kids were grown. Jan loved her large group of family and friends. Her grandchildren lit up her life.  She fully enjoyed gathering everyone for holidays, events and celebrations.

Jan was loved and respected by her family, friends, and co-workers. We always counted on her to share her thoughts openly and keep us on track.

Jan was an emotionally strong, socially outgoing, kind, independent woman.  We will love and miss her always.
