Edward Wilson

Edward M. “Wils” Wilson, age 82, of Springfield, PA, passed away on April 10, 2021.  Born in Duquesne, PA, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Florence P. Wilson (nee Gorney).

Ed was a veteran of the United States Army.  He had been employed as an Industrial Engineer  for the United States Government at Boeing.

Ed loved playing golf at the Springfield Country Club, was a Pittsburgh Steelers and Phillies fan. enjoyed Nascar, trains, beer, and a good cigar.  He had been a member of the Coaching Staff at  Lansdowne Boys Club.

Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Maureen K. Wilson (nee Kelly), his loving children Michael P. Wilson (Carolyn), Dennis E. Wilson (Pamela) and Carolyn M. Albright (Michael).  Grandfather of Dennis, Juliana, Michael, Patrick, Kyle, Caitlin and the late Jacqueline.   Brother of the late Patricia Gumbert.  Also survived by his brother-in-law Harold Gumbert.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, April 15, 2021 7:00-9:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

Masks are to be worn when visiting the family, to the Funeral Mass and Cemetery.   Social distancing is to be observed.
