Charles D. "Charlie" DeVaux, age 81, of Malvern, PA, formerly of West Conshohocken, PA, passed away on January 25, 2021.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Charles B. and Mary DeVaux (nee Dornan).

Charlie attended Lower Merion High School and then Carnegie lnstitute of Technology graduating with a B.S. in Printing lndustrial Management in 1961. After 2 years serving in the Corps of Engineers (US Army) at Fort Belvoir, VA, he returned to the Philadelphia area joining the family-owned book manufacturing company (William J. Dornan, lnc.) located in Collingdale, PA. He became President and CEO of the company on his father's retirement in 1965.

During his time in the printing industry, Charlie served on the Board of Directors of the Graphics Arts Association of the Delaware Valley, becoming Chairman in 1976 and receiving its Man of the Year Award in 1978. He also served on the Board of Directors of Master Printers of America as well as being a member of the Ash Khan Society. ln 1993, Charlie joined the Real Estate Market in the Philadelphia Area until he retired in 2009.

Charlie was married for over 40 years to Helen Macdonald Devaux, until her death in May, 2006. Charlie has one daughter, Helen DeVaux of Conshohocken.

Services and interment are private due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
