Barbara Fanto

Barbara Anderson Fanto of King of Prussia, PA passed away on August 5, 2020 at the age of 79. Born in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of John E. and Edith (Daisey) Anderson. Barbara attended elementary school in East Lansdowne, PA and Ocean City, NJ. She also attended school in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and graduated from Ocean City High School in 1959. Following high school, Barbara studied business law and English composition at the University of Pennsylvania.

Barbara was the administrative assistant to Austin Brough, Manager of the Philadelphia International Airport, administrative assistant to Ambassador Walter Annenberg, and administrative assistant to the Chairman of the Arthur Demoss Foundation.

Barbara was an accomplished professional singer particularly in church positions and opera concerts.

Barbara was married to James (Jim) Fanto for 49 years until his death in 2018. She is predeceased by her parents, her sister, Ruth Anderson Keen and husband Andrew W. Keen, and her brother, Jack Anderson.

Barbara is survived by her sister-in-law, Patricia Anderson, niece, Karen Anderson Delaney and husband, William Delaney, II, and their four sons, William, Garrett, James, and Michael, nephew, Gary Keen, and his daughter, Amanda Keen, nephew, Mark Anderson, and wife, Michelle Anderson, and niece, Amy Anderson. Barbara is also survived by Jim’s son, Ronald Fanto, and wife, Karen Fanto, grandson, Morrie James Fanto, and wife Andrea, and their two children, Morgan and Stanton.
