I wish to pass along the condolences of both my father (Arthur C.
Compton, Jr.) and I to the family and friends of Mr. Reynolds. We
apologize for being unable to make the services. I got to know Mr.
Reynolds, as I have always called him since I was a little boy,
through his tradesman's relationship with my Dad. He always
loved to needle me when our paths would cross even up into recent
times; we would always end up having a good laugh together. Most
importantly, I was honored to know this man, a REAL man who was there
landing men on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. I tried asking him
questions about it as a wide-eyed teen some 25 years ago and all he
would tell me is "Artie, imagine the scariest, worst thing you
could ever imagine and make it a thousand, no a MILLION times
worse." It was probably one of the few times that I knew the man
to be stone serious and not follow up with a zinger. I researched
what men in his position did and I was blown away...a REAL man. As a
44 year old now, I truly understand what the men like him laid on the
line in their time and it amazes me. Again, it was an honor and
pleasure to have known him. Both Dad and I will remember him
fondly...Thank you for being our friend through the years and thank
you for your service Mr. Reynolds.

I was shocked to hear of Kelly's untimely passing and my deepest
sympathy goes out to the entire family.
Although I only knew Kelly for a short period when I Managed her
softball team in 2002 for WGSL I found Kelly to be very spirited and a
great competitor.
Kelly became a team player and grew the most of all of her teammates
from the begining to the end of the season which lead me to believe
that Kelly would grow into a fine young lady.
Again, may God rest Kellys soul and bless your family

old son almost 2 years ago... Hang in there one day at a time - it
takes time...a lot of time to heal. I had the pleasure of meeting
